My Big Boy Birthday

Finally I can rest my mind for a while to do some updates, although my desk was pile up like a mountain papers, but who cares. I am left alone in the office.

Basically from morning till now I am just doing nothing but to pick up incoming phone calls like a receptionist.

“ Hello, HR ……Yes, She is off”
“ Please leave down your message I will get her to call you back tomorrow.”
“ Yes, please call her again…”

I don’t mind if the call volume is not that high, but imagine I have been answering from morning till now, hardly even get my things done. So irritating.

I think this company need to build in a voice messenger system, so that this will not distracted other staff for taking their time to answer it and writing the message for them.

****Hint: I got a job offer!!! The remuneration package is just so attractive that I hope I make the right choice.

Oh ya! I have a great weekend with my Big Boy last week. It was his 27th Birthday!! Everything turned out well, and my big boy was quite touched for what I have planned for him. I surprised him with a HUGE QUEEN SIZE BED and this bed really cost me a bomb. Have been thinking of what to buy for him for months, and you know my Big Boy is quite fussy about gift. So I guess he wont be fussy about a bed that he can rest well at home. I have also ordered a Mom’s Choco Fudge Cake for his birthday cake from Choc.a.bloc. It was my first time trying their cake and I must tell you, they can really bake a nice chocolate cake. I love it and my big boy love it too!! Both of us finished most of the slices and I guess we can finish it by tonight.

On Saturday night, I bought him to a restaurant, Esmirada @ Orchard Hotel. It was our first visit there and both of us love the place instantaneously. They serve Mediterranean cuisine. We sat at a corner and enjoy our candle light dinner. We have ordered their Esmirada’s famous garlic bread and Moroccan cous cous soup to share. I had myself penne arrabbiata and Dunjie ordered himself a lamp chop.

I am quite surprised how they present their food, especially their eye-catching Esmirada’s famous garlic bread. I tell you, IT’S NICE!!! They gave us a whole loaf of bread. The portion they serve is quite huge that you can share it with more than 2 persons. And Dunjie was also amazed by the way they served their lamb chop. They put the lamb chop into a skewer and hook them on the small rack, while you can enjoyed the meat, all the juicy oil have drip off from the meat. COOL and healthy!!! Lastly we end our meal with their homemade tiramisu. Lovely, lovely and Wonderful!

And that was not all, the highlight of the restaurant is they have this ‘Zorba’ – an ancient greek habit of smashing plates for good luck every night at the restaurant. Yes, we did have a good smashing time. I guess I did make a good choice to bring him there for his birthday treat. Everything went so prefect!

And here goes the pictures to end this blog, love and miss you gals :)
